This transferrable Valmet M78 308 caliber AK/RPK type machine gun up for sale is a rare and interesting piece. It’s a real Finnish imported Valmet M78 that was registered by Fleming in the 80s and converted to a traditional AK full auto setup with a 3rd receiver hole, auto sear, and fire control group. The gun is in great condition, the metal and wood furniture finish are all original, and the internals are clean.

The prior owner had this MG for it’s entire life. They tell me the gun worked really well but has jams now. I haven’t had time to test fire this gun at all or tinker with it, so I am passing this along for full, honest disclosure. I’m offering this up for sale now, and willing to sell it for thousands under market value. If I work through this gun and it runs fantastic, then the price goes way up. Maybe it just hated their surplus ammo? Maybe it’s a timing issue that needs the sear adjusted? A little wear on the FCG? I don’t know if there’s anything there at all until I make time to examine it, but time is money here. If you’re a competent AK guy, I doubt there’s an issue!
